The Dead Body for Hometown

1st : Whose grandfather is over there? Again, that outsider only taking back the dead body to our village...

2nd : Cool, man ... be ready for the big party then ... Also it can be fertilize this our thin land ...

Batakneese is one of tribe in Indonesia who has strong struggling life. In Tapanuli itself (the homeland) is not any promising maximally for people to increase his/her wealthness. That is the reason that Batakneese people have strong willingness to go out from Tapanuli to looking for better life rather than staying longer at the homeland. If you come to villages in Tapanuli in recent years, mostly the old people staying there. The younger went out to reach dreams. Usually, they will come to see the homeland (to meet the families ...) in some occasions, i.e. Christmas, New Year, and or religious seasons (babtize, and wedding ceremony). Or, bringing back the family members in other condition ... dead body.

Usually, the old people entitle to get more respect in the tradition. Also the dead body. For people who coming from rich society - and of course having big money to establish the big party before burial ceremony - it is another enjoyment for local people to get in to the celebration. Celebration? Yes, because the longer life (indicated by having grandson, and or son of grandson ...) is the other proverty to be celebrated.

Beside fertilizing, there is another "advantage" for the land: it can transforming to be oil someday in next hundred years ...
